Very Good. Lip and handle are perfect. The right shoulder has a fine 45 mm hairline coming to the front, this is coming from a fine 100 mm hairline that starts at the base of the tan on the right shoulder and goes up to the base of the blob top in the vicinity of the handle. This is very fine, not even catching your finger nail when run over the location of the hairline. Couple of shallow flakes under base, likely from when this was removed from the potters wheel. Shallow 5 x 3 mm pottery blowout below the ink stamp at the front. 6 x 1 mm black making mark on the front left shoulder. Some minor discolouration. Impression is deep and clear on this one, and with little in the way of damage, this is one of the nicer examples of quite a scarce demijohn. Grade: 7.5 Estimate: $250 - 300
