Tapered goldfields pickle with very wide opening. No base mark. Goldfields Pickle Applied top. Ring around mid neck, another to lower neck. Bulged out shoulder tapers down to a narrower base. Aqua. Pint. 197 mm. 1860s
Fair. Possibly has been acid dipped as this has a shiny appearance. However, it was obviously etched as the etching remains including some swirled marks. There has been a chip in the lip which has been coarsely ground down. A bit hazy in the base area. Unusual bottle. Grade: 5.9 Estimate: $50 - 75
