Fair. Rare item but has some issues. Handle at the back is missing - broken off pretty much at the joins to the body. The top has three chips with one being very large. In order they measure: 30 x 24 mm; 24 x 15 mm; 15 x 10 mm. Only light scuffs and scratches to the body. Spigot hole just has some pinprick marks. There is a large shallow "slice" off the underside of the base measuring 92 x 35 mm - this could have happened when the demijohn was removed from the potters wheel however. Not a bad looking item and quite rare but needs some work. Interesting that we have a Freebody label in this auction from a different collection! Grade: 5.9 Estimate: $500 - 600
