Very Good. The rusty handle is bent and rather flimsy, do not carry it by the handle! Small glaze flake to upper front lip, there is a 20 mm hairline through this along the upper lip. Small spot of wear to left shoulder edge. Little thin glaze flake to rear shoulder. Spigot hole has some cement like substance inside. Little glaze flake to left of spigot, another to lower spigot which has a fine glaze hairline coming from it. The underside of the spigot has a chip, 9 x 8 mm but shallow and on the underside, so not visible. Some scratches and minor discolouration. Some minor glaze flakes to the body. Couple of short, fine hairlines near base edge. A good example of a scarce Australian demijohn. Grade: 7.5 Estimate: $400 - 600
