Small size plain black with saggy base and droopy lip. Circa late 1790s-1810s Black Glass Wine Crude applied top. Shouldered. Wide, crude pontil to base. 10 oz. 205 mm. 1790s-1810s
Very Good. Bizarrely this whole bottle has had a coat of dark black paint put over it. We have peeled this off in several spots to reveal nice original glass with a bit of rust on one side but a lovely early bottle lies underneath! Quite a hard to get little piece of black glass in this small size and will clean up well. Grade: 7 Estimate: $20 - 30
