Two variations of Australian Morris's Eye Ointment lids. Pot Lid Ointment Both have black print on white lid. Both around 47 mm diameter. 1900s
The example in the scroll has no base. There is a hairline through the upper part of the lid which is quite fine, but seen on both the front and back. Spot of rust to the left. Shallow discoloured flake under the flange and a tiny flake to outer flange. Some discolouration and scratches. The other example has a flake under the flange as well. A couple of rust spots. A scratch or two. Quite a shiny piece this one. A great pair of little Aussie lids. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 40
