1. Very Good. The large 1 shilling size, this is harder to get. The face is great with a few minor scratches. The outer rim has some glaze flakes. Flake chip to outer flange, another under the flange. A hairline crack in the shape of a horseshoe on the flange as well. Nice piece. 2. Very Good. This is the flat variety with W Woods MPS on it. Some little flakes and spots of stain to outer rim. At about four o'clock under the rim is a hairline going down to the lower flange, at this point under the flange is a knock mark forming a flake and horseshoe fracture along the rim. A nice looking lid. 3. Near Mint. The highly domed variation, this only has W. Woods on it. A few light scratches to the highly shiny glaze. One tiny nick under flange, may be from making? Making split to middle under side of lid. A superb example. Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 75
