Excellent. Amazing piece of glass. Although with no makers marks this pattern is certainly Australian made, see previous auctions where we have had Cobalt and Amber versions of this same ball. This one has a little dullness around the surface. It's a bit nibbly to the shear lip but that is quite likely just from manufacture. The colour is amazing a very consistent and vibrant amethyst. The ball itself is incredibly light too. The rarest known colour for this pattern and in nice shape. Grade: 8 Estimate: $800 - 1200
