McLean / Trade (McL) Mark / Surry Hills. No potters mark. Ginger Beer Cork Stoppered Salt glaze. Impressed. 10 oz. 165 mm. 1880s
Very Good. 12 x 3 mm flake along upper lip. 10 x 4 mm mark to rear lip is similar, but looks like a kiln kiss? Small patch of deep wear through glaze on left shoulder. 12 x 7 mm chip under right base edge. A little wear to base edge. Highly shiny glaze throughout, including unnder the base. Crudely made, some of the mentioned marks may be from making. Grade: 7 Estimate: $20 - 30
