Plain Redmans or Dunns patent. No marks but made by Ross glassworks. (New South Wales) Aerated Water Patent Cylinder with sharp shoulder up to another sharp change making a distinct ring below the applied top. Dark Blue-Aqua. 10 oz. 220 mm. 1870s-1880s
Excellent. Polished. Beautiful bottle with great colour and lovely whittle to the surface. Has a very fine annealing type fracture in the surface of the glass at the neck over about 10 mm. Interesting mould lines show the difficulty the glassworks must have had in making these bottles. Some scratches and scuffs to the surface. A pinprick mark or two around the lip. Great example of a rare Australian patent bottle. Grade: 8.3 Estimate: $150 - 200
