H. Mitchell / (H.M. / D. within a Triangle) / Dubbo. Potters Stamp: Bourne / Denby. (New South Wales) Ginger Beer Cork Stoppered All white. Black print. 13 oz. 172 mm. 1900s
Excellent. Tiny impact to upper left lip has a short glaze hairline from it along the upper lip. Little impact to upper rear shoulder looks like a spot where the glaze is a little lighter. Two tiny glaze flakes to left shoulder. Even smaller one to right shoulder. Small flake to front right base edge has a tiny flake next to it. Around to the right there is another flake to the base edge. One or two little nibbles elsewhere to the base edge. Tiny impact to left base edge has a fine hairline running over a short distance from it along the base edge - this is very hard to see. Some glaze scratches in places, a few down the left side including a scuffed mark to upper body on left front. Couple of little rust spots. There is fine crazing throughout from making. This is a superb English made ginger beer, an exceptional rarity and in lovely condition, as these UK made bottles often are. An amazing bottle! Grade: 8 Estimate: $1000 - 1250
