Dimple Vinegar with Rope Design. In rope circle on rear is a crown and an anchor. Base Mark: (Dot). Household Vinegar Applied top. Aqua. 26 oz. 334 mm. 1870s
Very Good. Dip in lip from making. Annealing marks and splits to inner lip from making. Little impact mark to upper part of rope design on one side, basically a tiny bruise. Dull throughout. Little nibbled impact to base edge has a shallow small sliver coming from it. Some fisheyes and tiny impacts, not very many though. Little flake to base edge. Scattered scuffs and scratches. Quite hard to get, you do not see these rope design dimple vinegars for sale. Not sure if the crown and anchor design is standard for these? Grade: 7 Estimate: $75 - 100
