Bears Grease / (Bear in Chains) Pot Lid Cosmetics Small round lid. Black & White. 66 mm diameter. 1870s
Excellent. Glaze crazing throughout. A 4 x 2 mm impact mark on the very bottom of the flange. Some really minor spots of surface stain on the underside. This lid is identical to the Jackson & Preston, Leicester lids but obviously without the company name or address. Possibly unique in this form. Grade: 8.8 Estimate: $1500 - 2500
