Spanish/Italian/Southern European Majolica ceramic Hunting Flask. Bull & Deer pictures. Pottery Stoneware Round/Heart shaped flask. Multi-coloured. About 6 oz. 128 mm. 1800s
Very Good. Possibly earlier than 1800s, possibly later! Looks early though with a bit of wear around the holes where a string would go. Flaking and glaze chips to the ridges on the edges. Thick line of glaze wear to the lip on both sides. Nice print and bright glazes. A good looking and very interesting item. Has been in a private Australian collection for many years. Grade: 7.9 Estimate: $100 - 150
