Repaired. There has been overpainting to 60-70% of the surface and this has yellowed very slightly. From just below the T of Tooheys there is a 35 mm crack running straight down and a 15 mm crack that then disappears behind the overpainting heading 45 degrees up to the left. Three deep scratches in the back shoulder look to be from manufacture and are in the actual clay of the bottle. Now looking inside: The main damage appears to be in the left body to upper shoulder where a hole has been filled that is about 60 mm long and up to 20 mm wide. There are cracks running off different parts of this hole and, mainly towards the upper part of the bottle, there have been at least a couple of pieces of the original bottle that have been glued back in place. A good looking shelf example nonetheless of a very rare bottle. Grade: 0 Estimate: $200 - 250
