1. Fair. The whole outside of the top down to the shoulder has been overpainted. Also the blue on the inside of the top has been overpainted. Having had a look inside the bottle up to the inner top is all original and having peeled back some of the paint on the top there is definitely original top underneath that. So it would appear that the repairs are to chips around the top. We can't really be sure how deep these might be in places but this largely seems to be an intact bottle. There is a scrape down the lower side. A bit of stain and the lower glaze has been a bit bubbly with some tiny blowouts and the like. Probably worth cleaning up, peeling back the current repairs and getting this one done well. 2. Fair. Bottle has been in a fire by the looks. Glaze is still OK to lower section but heavily stained underneath. Top has had two large chips: 25 x 20 mm and 15 x 12 mm that have been filled and then crudely painted over. Looks like some other nibbles to the lip and around the lugs at the side for the wires. A line down the left side from making. Very hard to get bottle, a worthwhile project to fix it up. Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 60
