Hoadley's / Preserves. Smooth base. (Victoria, New South Wales) Household Jar Ground lip. Looks to have been made for a wire bail and lightning type closure. Clear (very pale aqua). Half Pint. 128 mm. 1900s
Very Good. However there is a 7 mm long fracture below the last S of Preserves and a similar 5.5 mm fracture in almost the middle of the base. Around the ground lip are a few little nibbles including one to the back left that has a shallow 10 x 5 mm bruise below it on the inner lip. A little bit of haze and dullness. Some minor scratches and marks. A really unusual jar and very rare. Grade: 7 Estimate: $$150.00 - $200.00
