Excellent. No lid. Ground upper lip from making. Fine bruise to inner left rim. A few shallow flakes with the odd fine bruise around the ground lip, which is pretty much typical of this style of lip finish. Some usage wear under base. Some inner base grime, may have had an oiling at some stage, which would have been for display purposes. Some fine scuffs and scratches scattered around. An exceptionally rare jar, never been offered for auction before and not likely to in a hurry see another. Grade: 8.5 Estimate: $1500 - 2000
