Pair of Stove Blacks: 1. Stiff / M / Lambeth. 2. Warrens / Liquid Blacking / 30 Strand / Blacking / Bottle. Household Stoneware Both are salt glaze, impressed. Two sizes. 1. 167 mm. 2. 127 mm.. 1830s-1870s
1. Very Good. Small flake below potters stamp. Scratch to rear. Some minor marks. 2. Very Good. Small glazed lip chip from making. Glaze scrape around from this. Couple of glaze nicks to base edge. Some dark stains, not sure if this was the way it was made or not. Impression is weak in places. A very early jar, this was found in Tasmania. Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 75
