Collins & Sons / Stone / Ginger / Beer / Deniliquin. Impressed stamp: Bendigo Pottery / Epsom. (New South Wales) Ginger Beer Cork Stoppered Champagne shape. Blue lip. Black Print. 10 oz. 209 mm. 1920s
Good. This example sold in Auction 11 with the following description, "Presents fairly well but has a dark 110 mm hairline to the right side from just below the top. This hairline is very tight over most of its length but a fingernail just catches on it up near the neck. Surface of the bottle is a little scruffy with fine scratches. There is a short discoloured scratch to the front shoulder. Outer lip has some very light wear. Should clean up better and hairline needs a good soak to clean, the print on this one is superb!" It has since been touched up by way of a paint job over the hairline to disguise it. Texta mark to rear. Graded initially at 6.6, it now looks a bit better whilst still being the same bottle, so I have marginally upgraded the grading. Grade: 6.8 Estimate: $100 - 150
