Large amber registered ornate sauce. Rd No 23184. Base mark: 1689. Household Sauce Applied top. Waisted Shape. Amber. 13 oz. 222 mm. 1880s
Very Good. Stopper is the same colour and has some later corking in place, possibly is original. Some inner dirt looks like it should clean out. Has possibly been oiled internally at some stage. Dull patch to shoulder on one side has a nibbled scratch amongst it. Some other fine wear, scuffs and scratches around the shoulder. Tiny impact or two to base edge. Quite a lovely bottle, we have both sizes in this auction. Grade: 7.6 Estimate: $75 - 100
