Pair of Bricks: 1. H Convict Brick. 2. E V & S Brick. Pottery Brick Brick 237 & 230 mm long. 19th Century & 1900s
1. Described by the vendor as a convict brick, I don't know enough to be able to say it is for sure. Typical little blowouts from making. Deep impressed letter H has slightly poorly defined edges. Some flakes to the edges and chips. Not sure on age, somewhere in the 1800s at a guess. 2. Typical splits and chips to the edges. Making blowouts from iron spots. Hard to say what is a chip and a blowout in places. Deeply impressed. Not sure where this is from, but would hazard a guess it is a New South Wales brick. Grade: N/A Estimate: $20 - 30
