1. Good. Glaze wear around the lip. Chip to front shoulder has taken out the A of Tanner. Wear and little flakes to rest of shoulder, some rust as well. A few flakes to base edge are quite small, some making marks as well. Potters mark to right mid body is a deep gouge of some sort. Crazing throughout, stain scattered around and some scratches. A glaze nick or two to be found. 2. Very Good. A few small shallow flakes to upper lip. Couple of small chips to front shoulder with some making marks below across the R of Tanner. Kiln kiss to left body. Couple of little discoloured spots. Some fine scratches and some minor spots of wear. Plenty of crude making marks, this is a very early bottle with a nice thin lip. 3. Fair. Similar to the first one, but the lip is a bit thinner and the writing seems a tad smaller. This has a kiln kiss just to left of the T of Tanner. A crack starts next to the E of Adelaide, goes up to shoulder and across about 40 mm where it then curves back down the body diagonally all the way to the base. Parts of this crack are wide, a bit flaked in places too. Couple of base edge flakes. Some hairlines to lower body. Some glaze misses. Discolouration, there is some wear and scratches to the glaze. 4. Very Good. The upper lip glaze wear may simply be an unglazed lip? Some small chips to shoulder and a larger flake to the rear. Potters blowout to mid right body. Glaze hairlines to lower body. Dark scratches below the impression. Glaze hairline to neck. Some glaze wear to the body and scattered scratches. Probably the most visually appealing of this lot with the deep impression and reasonably large letters. Grade: N/A Estimate: $100 - 150
