Excellent. The body is very rough. Around the base are numerous indents and signs of the potter fixing up little errors. But bear in mind it was made this way as all this would have been covered with a wicker basket. Similarly the body is dirty but any dust and grime really sticks to the unglazed area. The top and neck are spot on. Looks like the original cork in the top but the demijohn is not full of wine! Grade: 8.5 Estimate: $70 - 100
