Advertising Statue: I want Laxettes. Statue Early statue, possibly rubberoid? About 415 mm high. 1930s
Good. A painted hard substance, I think it is rubberoid. There are some paint flakes. A split or two and some crazing to the paint as well. Some wear. Closer inspection reveals larger areas of apparent flaking which are coloured, possibly to lessen the appearance of the flaking. Some discolouration and scratching. Quite an early advertising statue, I can't find any previous sales anywhere for one of these. Grade: N/A Estimate: $250 - 300
