Gooddy / (Anchor) / Trade Mark / Melbourne. Around base heel: Made by the Melbourne Glass Bottle Co. No base mark. 4. G. Davidson / Trade (GD) Mark / "Federation" / Melbourne. Base Mark: (KBC monogram) / 4728. (Victoria) Aerated Water Lamont Applied top. Aqua. 13 oz. 235 - 230 mm. 1880s-1890s
1. Very Good. Lacquered and possibly polished. A few impact nicks to front outer lip edge. Deep pitted scratch around the shoulder, another to lower body. Some fisheyes. Small surface bubble or two. Some other scratches and pit marks. (7.0). 2. Good. Some small nibbled flakes to the rear lip edge. Thin burst bubble to inner front lower neck. Some inner stain. A few flakes to base heel and an associated bruise or two. Scuffs and scratches scattered around. Some fisheyes. Heavy embossing has some minor wear to the high points. (6.8). 3. Very Good. Lacquered. Couple of impacts to the lip edge. Some scuffs and scratches and a few fisheyes. One or two pitted scratches. Couple of little surface bubbles. (7.3). 4. Good. Lacquered. Oiled. Hazy throughout. Couple of impact bruises to the base heel. Scuffs and scratches with impacts and fisheyes scattered throughout. Interestingly, I have only just noticed that there are variations in these lamonts, this one does not have William Street embossed on it. (6.2). Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 70
