Pair of Preserving Jars both embossed: Commonwealth (in script arched across jar) / Fruit Jar. Base: M. Household Jar Lightning type Bail closures. Aqua. Half Gallon & Quart. 264 & 215 mm. 1910s
Large one is Excellent. Typical little flakes and chips around the ground lip. Rust on the neck from the wire. Minor haze and marks. The small one is Very Good. It has a larger lip chip and a bruise to the lip plus the usual small flakes. A little hazy inside. Rust around the neck. Minor marks. Good looking pair of jars. Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 70
