Excellent. The mirror is 4 mm thick with a wooden backing clamped on, the clamps can be seen protruding around the edges. This backing is a later addition enabling it to be hung. This is a little dull, should clean up. There are some scratches. A bit of minor staining to the mirroring under the glass to the edges. The applied design looks to be painted glass on top of ply of some sort. The silver and gold sections are some sort of fine material such as foil that has been belted to give it an orange peel effect. This is inset into the backing, with the rest of the coloured design being painted on the back of the applied glass. Quite a lot of work has gone into this piece, a great piece of chemist advertising. This will need to be posted by courier. (This sign appeared back in Auction 18 with a $500 reserve.
