Excellent. Tiny flake to inner front lip. Small patch of rust to rear upper neck. Some wear to rear upper body. Some fine inner dirt that looks like it will wash out. Scuffed scratch to rear body, another spot of wear near rear base. A few fine fisheyes. Great embossing, just a couple of little impacts to be found. Tiny impact or two. Some fine scratches and the odd scuff mark. Very rare, we have only sold one before, but it was not made in Japan like this one. Japanese made codds have a wonderful blue tinge to them, as does this beauty! A truly wonderful and rare piece. Grade: 8 Estimate: $600 - 800
