Very Good. Four small glaze flakes to upper lip edge, these are only just through the glaze. Lower front right lip has a small glaze miss from making. The upper body just below the shoulder has a small band of light wear. Minor glaze near left base edge. Small flake under front base heel is likely a potters pull. Dint to lower rear from making has a small flake next to it. Some spots of wear to the glaze on the body. A few discoloured scratches, other scratches scattered around. Some other discolouration and grime. A bit of surface rust to base. A few glaze misses and some crude making marks. Needs a good clean, but is a really good example of this demijohn. We have sold one other, but it had a potters stamp as opposed to this one. Extremely rare! Grade: 7.5 Estimate: $1500 - 2000
