The first is a large and ornate example which stands 65 mm high. There is a nibbled chip to the body. Some stain and wear. The second is a conical shape just under 70 mm high. This is stained and has a few bruises. Next is a large square well standing 53 mm high. Chip to rim, stain and a small bruise or two. The next is a smaller square example of 48 mm. This has a nibbled chip to base edge corner. Flake to another base corner. Some stain. A few other knocks and marks. Next is a slightly more ornate square version which is 44 mm high. Fine lip bruise. Some dirt and minor haze. This has PS & W Co Pat, Dec 11 77 under the base, so is quite early (1877). Some fisheyes, scratches and scuffs. Next is a flat shape example with cut shoulders. This is 37 mm high. It is stained, has a few nibbled flakes to the edges, some scratches and scuffs. The last one is also a flattened square shape. This is only 33 mm high. It is stained, has a spider web type fracture under the base, scuffs and scratches. An interesting selection of ink wells. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 50
