Restored. A superb job completed by a well known tattoo artist in Melbourne many years ago. He has even gone to the lengths of imitating the crazing. The top left corner has been restored, with the T of Tooth and DUD of Dudley being new additions and out from there on a diagonal line. The crazed looking line outside the border down the left and across the top are added on by the repairer. The left flange is fully painted, the other three sides look mainly original. I have a feeling this has also been in two pieces and glued together superbly, the middle A of prepared the second A of fragrant and the second O of tooth may have been touched up due to the break being through them on a diagonal line through the U of Melbourne. The underside is fully painted, probably to disguise this repair. A great job all round. The vast majority of the print is original. This comes with a base which fits nicely which only has small marks. Grade: 0 Estimate: $50 - 75
