Very Good. Mattei Brothers and Company were figurine manufacturers at 126-132 Greeves Street, Fitzroy. Ferdinando, Amedeo and Amato Mattei were skilled in plaster casting, they migrated from Gromignana to Australia in the early 1920s and in 1926 opened their business. Couple of small flakes near the base. I am not 100% sure the colour is original, if it is it has withstood the test of time rather well. Quite a well done piece which looks great and is a nice piece of Melbourne history. Grade: N/A Estimate: $100 - 150
