Good. 35 mm chip to bottom of flange on the left narrow side is up to 8 mm deep, not at all visible from the face. In fact, the face is great, there are a couple of small discoloured spots. Tiny nick to left edge and some fine scratches, but looks great on display. A few tiny nicks to the corners. Fine glaze hairline on underside from the chip to the middle, this is not at all visible on the face. A rare lid, this is a decent example. No base with this. Grade: 6.8 Estimate: $500 - 750
