Two unusual cream/yellow coloured wide mouth jars. Pottery Two unusual cream/yellow coloured wide mouth jars. 1. 115 mm. 2. 112 mm.. 1860s
1. Good. Chips, nibbles and flakes over about 50 mm of the outer flared lip. Couple of other small flakes. Some discoloured spots and crazing. Some scratches. 2. Very Good. Split under neck from making. Possible fine hairline to upper outer lip, or maybe a scratch? Some discolouration and crazing with some rusty appearance in places. Both these jars are Victorian found items, I have a feeling they are from an early Victorian pottery, but as they are unmarked, cannot say for sure one way or the other. Grade: N/A Estimate: $20 - 30
