Unglazed elsewhere. Interesting wire handle and wire that goes around main part of demijohn. Two Gallon. 390 mm. 1910s+
Good. Large chips to the top: 44 x 15 mm at the back left. 45 x 25 mm across the back top. 30 x 15 mm to the front right. Rest of the demijohn is in great shape. Scuffs and marks to the unglazed section, this would have been made with the intention it would be in a wicker basket originally and these unglazed types mark easily. Dirt and grime along the line of the wire down the sides looks like this has been in place a long time. Interesting demijohn, the top obviously needs some work but displays OK as it is.
