Black glass mallet. Base mark: Refired pontil? Black Glass Black Glass Applied top. Black. 26 oz. 239 mm. 1820s
Good. Surface has a dull pitted effect throughout giving it a matt appearance. Nibbled flake to underside of lip. A few little surface impact marks. Small spot of pitted wear. Scratches. Etched. This was dived in Sydney many years ago. A very early saggy base black. Grade: 6 Estimate: $50 - 75
