Victorian Child's Mug: A Present For A Good Girl.. Pottery. Mug. Polcyhrome mug. 84 mm. 19th century
Very Good. (7.5). Very interestingly has a coloured design on the inner base as well! Couple of little potters blowout type marks. Dint to the green flower on one side has some glaze pops from making amongst it. Fine, slightly discoloured star hairline under the base. The gold leaf writing has a little fine wear. Some making marks to the heel. Some fine scratches and minor marks. Lovely, early item. Not sure on age, possibly mid 1800s?. Estimate: $30-50
