Wheeler & Co Ltd / Registered / (Wheel - ER & Co) / Trade Mark / Belfast. Base Mark: W. (Ireland) Beer Various 1. Machine made. Lightning stopper. Amber. 13 oz. 2. 1. Good. The rubber has perished so the stopper is stuck in place. Lip is presumably fine under this. The wire is rusty. Stopper has a small flake and a crack across it. 9 x 14 mm nibbled flake to front right base edge. Tiny impact flake to left mid seam. Short deep scratch to lower rear. A few little impact marks. Some scratches and little scuff marks. Some moisture inside. Dirty around the embossing. Not sure on age, certainly a later bottle though. This is an Italian beer bottle. 2. Very Good. Some rust and dirt scattered around which looks like it will all clean off. Some scratches. Impact bruises to the S and T of Belfast. Couple of nicks to one or two other letters, most are really good though. Patch or two of light haze. One or two little fisheyes and minor marks. An Australian found bottle. This has a weird closure on it that is a cross between a ring seal and a crown seal? Very odd indeed. These are from the late Roy Millar collection. Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 60
