Pair of early Pickles: 1. Walnuts. Base: 82. 2. Plain square pickle. Round indent to base. Goldfields Pickle 1. Cylinder. Wide mouth. Applied top. Aqua. Pint. 2. Square. Applied top. Aqua. Pint. 192 & 165 mm. 1850s+
1. Good. Has been polished but is still cloudy and has fine scratches all over. Fleabite off the base edge. Solid and an interesting jar. 2. Very Good. Polished. Just had a light tumble clean. Scratches around the surface. A bit of haze in the top. Inclusion with a tiny fracture near one edge at about mid bottle. Small wear spots and marks. A nice simple pickle bottle.
