Pair of Preserving Jars: 1. The / (AGM) / Utility / Australian Glass Manufrs Co Ltd. Base Mark: Owen's Ring. (Victoria) 2. Trade Mark / Lightning. No base mark. Household Jar 1. Early machine made screw top. Clear. 1 Quart. 2. Lightning style fruit jar. Aqua. 1 Pint. 152 & 150 mm. 1900s-1930s

1. Good. Some minor lip edge nibbles. Lid is rusty. Small pitted mark to rear. Left side has a very fine 6 mm fracture and a fine bruise which are both very difficult to even see. 9 x 8 mm fine bruise to right side of trade mark. Small bruise to right rear. Little nibbled mark near rear base edge. A few surface bubbles. Some scratches and little scuff marks. Quite hard to get with the extra line of writing at the front. 2. Very Good. Some chips and flakes around the ground lip, all hidden by the lid. The lid is a different colour. Quite grimy. Wire is rusty. Thin chip to H of Lightning, another below this to body. Couple of little surface flakes. Some fine scratches and minor marks. Grade: N/A Estimate: $20 - 30
