N/A. (N/A). 1. Good. Heavily stained. 10 x 5 mm bruise to inner right lip. Short dark scuffed scratch to left shoulder. Little fisheyes and impacts scattered around. Wear with scuffs and scratches scattered around. 2. Good. 7 x 5 mm flake to inner right lip. 7 x 5 mm flake to outer front lip. 5 x 5 mm flake to outer rear lip. Heavily scuffed neck and upper body on writing only side, actually some more scuffs lower down around the embossing as well. Scuffed down one side too on both sides of the seam. Rusty scuff to lower body below the trade mark. Wide, scuffed scratch above the word Newcastle. Dirty internally. Some other scuffs and scratches. Some little fisheyes and impact marks. We have sold several of these made by J. Ross, this is the first we have had without any makers marks. 3. VG. Hazy throughout. Some little fisheyes and impact marks. Some spots of surface rust. Little srface flake mark on shoulder is adjacent to a lump, this is a making mark. Some scratches and scuffs, nothing deep though. Solid example of this Ross made bottle. 4. Poor. Wide crack from lip right down near the base on trade mark side, including through the trade mark. Stained. Some fisheyes. 3 or 4 nibbled flakes to the base edge and heel. Some scuffs and scratches. 5. VG. Some inner dirt. 20 x 7 mm bruise to inner left lip. A few spots of surface rust. Little flake to base edge. Some fisheyes and impact marks. Some scuffs and scratches as well. You see less of these than the larger variety. 6. VG. Hazy. Couple of fisheyes to base edge. Some crude folds in the glass from making. A couple of fisheyes. Some scratches and the odd scuff mark. Lower embossing is very weak, I can see Ross but not much else. It does look like Ross Bo - not sure what that would have said, should have been Ross Bros. This is the first small Ross made Redman lamont that we have sold.. Estimate: $100-200
