Excellent. (8.4). Crazing all throughout. Grimy, I've cleaned it a little but some spots and the finicky areas around the decoration require a bit more time and dedication. Some very small glaze flakes and nibbles around the outer rim. A couple of thin scratches down the mid back. Some almost cement like gunk stuck on and in the lower grooves at the back, but everywhere I scrape at these with a fingernail it reveals nice shiny glaze underneath. The actual stone filter is in great condition too with just some small chips and some stain. The lid is magnificent as well! A perfect fit with matching glaze, I wouldn't hesitate to say it is the original with this piece. Brilliant as it is and will be even better with a nice clean. A centrepiece for any collection. Estimate: $6000-10000.
Reserve: $5000.
