Harrold & Harrold / Trade / (HH monogram) / Mark / Wollongong. Base Mark: BGW. Sand blasted to rear: T. Ball / Registered / Trade (Bull's Head) Mark / Bulli. (New South Wales). Aerated Water. Lamont. Applied top. Aqua. 10 oz. 217 mm. 1890s
Good. (6.2). 11 x 11 mm nibbled chip to outer rear lip. Along the upper and inner lip associated with this chip is some bruising over about 14 x 5 mm. A fine surface fracture is also associated on the inner lip. 6 x 3 mm flake to bottom of applied lip at front, there is a very thin sliver from this as well. Little nibbled spot to lower rear lip. Pitted, deep scratch runs right down the rear through the middle of the sand blasted badge, there is also a wide section of lighter scuffing down the rear. Some fisheyes and impact marks, including a few deeper examples near the base edge. Some nibbled impact flakes next to the first Harrold at the front. A bit of light haze in places. Some scuffs and scratches scattered around. A rare bottle, we have sold one before, but not with Ball's sand blasting on it as well, which makes this quite a unique find! Estimate: $200-300
