J. Conlon. Base Mark: H (Inside a circle). (Broken Hill, New South Wales). Aerated Water. Lamont. Applied top. Aqua. 10 oz. 232 mm. 1890s
Very Good. (7.3). Stained, although there are some shiny patches as well. The stain has a little surface etching in places. Little shallow annealing type mark to inner left lip. Little nibbled spot to lower front lip. Spot of rust to front left shoulder has some associated nibbles. 3 x 1.5 mm mark to upper rear, not sure what this is, maybe a fisheye or shallow bruise. Just a few small fisheyes and impact marks. Some scratches and scuffs, heaviest around the shoulder but even then these are not overly deep. Heavy embossing, has some minor nicks and high point wear but is pretty good in general. A rare lamont from Broken Hill, we have only sold one before which was in quite poor condition, this is considerably better. Estimate: $100-150
