Good. (6.3). Polished. Quite different to any other we've sold. Previous examples have all had an M base mark, this one is clearly not a Melbourne Glass Works bottle. Very crudely applied top. Some inclusions in the glass but no faults around them. Been quite scuffy through the middle, still retains some heavy wear. A deeper scratch on the front top. The top of the lip has been slightly reshaped and you can just feel the remains of a couple of marks around the mid top. The base edge has had some grinding work done around it. An unusual one and first we've had of this exact variation. (Same bottle as sold in Auction 48, Lot 17). Estimate: $150-250
