Mason's / (CFJ Co Monogram) / Patent / Nov 30th / 1858. No base mark. (Australia). Household. Jar. Little sloping shouldered cylinder. Ground lip. Greenish aqua. 1 Pint. 139 mm without lid. 1880s -1890s

Excellent. (8.6). A little beauty. Flaking around the ground lip with one shallow chip to the outer left lip of about 6 x 3 mm. Just a few scratches and light wear around. Gorgeous little jar. One of the Melbourne Glass Works made varieties with its distinctive green hue to the colour. Advertising shows Melbourne Glass Works making these CFJ branded jars while they were still at South Melbourne in the 1880s before their move to Spotswood. Estimate: $100-200
