Good. (6.2). Little nibbles and the odd small flake around the lip, as is typical of these shear lip bottles. Hazy throughout, slightly etched in places. Small nibbled impact to one of the neck rings. 11 x 4 mm open bubble to the mid body. 11 x 7 mm double flake near base edge. Through this along the base edge and under the heel runs a crack over about 70 mm, this is very hard to see, but is there. A second one runs very close to this along the underside of the heel over about 40 mm, again, hard to see, I nearly missed these totally. Some scratches. A great bottle, apart from the rare and sought after flared lip 26 ounce varieties, I have never seen a cobalt whirley this big. With XVI under the base, surely that is the capacity of 16 ounces! Huge example of this shear lip variety! Estimate: $200-300
