Very Good. (N/A). Writing to base is indistinct, but does say Silvester's Patent, whereas the handle says Salter's Patent. Some corrosion. Some knocks and marks. This is known as a lace iron with the rounded base. The curved base of this iron was designed to be used on delicate fabrics and lace without catching or tearing them. Estimate: $20-40
