Fair. (5). Not sure if lid is original, though it does look like a Campbell's made piece of pottery and does have a 2 underneath. Some making marks and a bit of dust around the lid. The all important filter shell has a 19 x 12 mm shallow flake to upper rim at front right, 8 x 5 mm shallower flake near this and then a 6 x 4 mm flake to inner front rim edge. Inner lid seat has a 15 mm inner chip, can't measure this properly as it is on the inside at front right. The lid seat one the inside where the left handle is has a 14 x 8 mm chunk out of it, the filter shell is very tinny in this area because there is a crack from the top of the rime, through this chipped area and down 100 mm to the back of the handle. From here a hairline goes under the handle about another 100 mm. Down from the handle the crack goes down the body about 225 mm, the lower part is more a hairline. Back to the rear of the handle, the crack travels horizontally around the rear over about 270 mm, again the end narrows to a hairline. There are a few flakes along this crack. The larger flake to upper rear is about 5 x 5 mm, from this another crack goes down the rear body over about 150 mm but continues in a curve along the lower rear body even further as a fine hairline. There is a small chip to the upper part of this crack as well. Some scratches and minor marks. Spigot hole is quite good. There is a number 2 sized wooden H. Gage, Melbourne tap with this which has not been photographed. Looks great on display, this is the first we have sold. Not for post due to the fragile nature of this item, it will not arrive in one piece. We would strongly recommend the winning buyer to not carry this by the handle, the right side handle with the cracking around it will very likely fail! Estimate: $100-150
